General

Temperature 5C, weather fair. Time 14:30

 

Woodpecker cages on all hives.

 

The shelter is still  flooded.

Hive #1

Brood and half, on grass. Mouseguard on. Bees low, failed to respond to knock but seen when checked. Hefted medium. Added carton of fondant (150g).

Hive #4

Brood and half, on slab. This has wooden entrance excluder rather than Mouseguard. Bees low, failed to respond to knock but seen when checked. Hefted medium. Lots of stores in half brood.

 

Hive #5

Double brood, on grass. Mouseguard on. Bees low, failed to respond to knock but seen when checked. Hefted medium/light. Added carton of fondant (150g). Moved to 'circle'.

Hive #6

Brood and half, on slab. Mouseguard on. Bees low, failed to respond to knock but seen when checked. Hefted medium. Added carton of fondant (150g).

Check stores again in 2 weeks time.
